Don't bother filing a maintenance report because, if it ever actually is completed, it will take several days. When you make a complaint to the manager, she just complains right along with you instead of fixing the problem. Landscaping is horrible... overgrown hedges, trash, and poorly cared for plants are everywhere. The maintenance guys ("Tubby and Dubby") don't know much about anything and spend most of their time sitting and/or smoking. The trash area smells worse than any other apt complex I've lived in. Bugs are a huge problem and I have NEVER actually seen the so-called exterminator that comes once a month (so they say). Our air conditioning is extremely poor, but maintenance claims that it's fine (I suggest they spend a hot summer night in here). The electric bill is atrocious. You'd be better off spending more on rent somewhere else and paying less on electricity and spending less time upset about the poor management (i.e. NO management). Broad River can be sketchy, but with plenty of lighting, it is possible to feel safe-- forget about that here, Tubby and Dubby don't like to install lights and certainly don't like to replace lightbulbs in the limited light fixtures we actually have. uWDgQKY3Vkv8FKIsB8Ax
