If you are planning on getting a statillite dish, well this is not the place for you. Green Oaks is surrounded in trees. I have lived in three of the apartments. I have experienced the one, two, and currently three bedroom apartments. The landlord is not someone who will genually help you. After many months of complaining of noise from the neighbors above I just had to stop telling her and call the police. Recently, the neighbors above us left and the landlord didn't even let us know that they were spraying pesticide (I guess now she believes me that there is a ROACH infestation and that Boric Acid and over the counter stuff wasn't cutting it). I got sick because the landlord neglected to inform us that they were using poision and the fumes would effect our daily living temporarily. When I told her about it she just shrugged it off. The place is so old that one of the maintence people told me that the wiring were not up to date. Our air conditioner almost caught fire. Again I complain however, she does not listen and nothing gets done until it is too late. When I firt moved into the apartments I had a water heater issue and nothing happened. The maintence man that has been here forever, has a nasty attitued and uses profanity to no end. He came in and did nothing. The next day My apartment was flooded. You may ask why I am still here. Because it is hard to move when you are unemployed. This place would be better if they would get the buildings up to date. The electric bill is so high because the wiring is old. You can only use the bottom sockets in the wall or else the switches turn off your devices (tv, computers, etc.) It is pretty quiet when you don't have loud neighbors above you. Overall living...I say it is worth paying more money for a smaller space to have better service...that is why, when I get full time work, I will leave this place and if I can I will turn them in for not being up to code with their apartments...and neglecting their residents. Oh and all the legal paper work says no pets allowed; however the landlord accepts pets.
