The appliances in the kitchen are old.

My first floor apartment came complete with hideous wallpaper in the kitchen and the bathroom even though the lease manager assured me it would be taken down prior to my move-in.

My first floor apartment gets bugs of all shapes and sizes...

millipedes, roaches, slugs, spiders, beetles, you name it.

I mentioned this to the front office and they said they would send someone over to spray.

That was two months ago.

Today at 6:00pm I received a notice that they tried to get into my apartment for annual inspection and discovered they didn't have a key to my apartment! They told me I had till 9:30am the next morning to give them a spare or they would be changing my locks.

Great display of communication, guys! Why they don't have a spare beats the hell out of me, but they are supposed to spray for bugs twice a month.

How can they get into my apartment to spray for bugs if they don't have a spare key! So they obviously haven't sprayed my apartment for bugs since I've lived here since they just asked me for a spare key to get in! I've been here 3 months with no pest control spraying.

My apartment is practically the set of Arachnophobia.

There are pipes leaking under the floor of my bedroom, which is adjacent to the bathroom.

The floor in the corner is always wet, and there is mold in the baseboards which is starting to show.

The sliding doors in the cramped "washroom" don't allow for a front loading dryer, so I had to remove the door.

Don't bother opening the windows because the screens don't fit and fall right out.

My lease runs out in January and I won't be renewing.

There are too many better options out there.

This is hands down the worst apartment I have ever rented.
