Paddock Club has some features that pull you in. These include an attractive pond and screened balconies. Pets are allowed, and frankly, don't live here without a dog.
The complex is not maintained particularly well for the rent charged. At least four nicer / newer / safer properties exist within a mile of Paddock club for about the same rent.
Security at Paddock Club is laughable. The entrance barrier is just a drop arm that can be driven under by most low profile cars without even swiping the overly sensitive passcard. The perimiter fence is merely a decorative horse fence, easily crossed. Frequently, locals park outside the fence behind the property and climb through in order to fish the pond in the middle of the property.
Kids, kids, and more kids! After property security, that is the biggest problem. Maybe its even the same problem. Parents seem to view the pool and other amenities as perfect for their latch-key kids. In addition, military families get a rent discount, so you have a number of restless military children. At all hours of the day and night, groups of teens wonder the grounds in boredom. Can't help but wonder if break-ins to cars or apartments are related.
