Overall my stay at Parklane was alright but if I had to do it over again, I probably would have selected another apartment. The staff is friendly and helpful. They even provide you with a daily continental breakfast Monday through Firday. They are also very military friendly. However my dissatisfaction was from the tenants. The walls are paper thin so you can hear your neighbors conversation as well as their sexual activity. There is a lot of family with small kids that live there who can be extremely loud. If you have small children then Parklane is ideal for you but if you're single, go somewhere else. Also, I thought the area was really safe and it is situated close to everything (the mall, I-20, Hwy 77, 277, and Two Notch Road).
