First, I found apartment on Rent.com in which I put in my lease. Rent.com suppose to sent me 100.00 in the mail but they stated that the management at Quail Run said that I did not put Rent.com on my lease. So I was out of luck, Then the nightmare began, (I read the Quail Run review from this webpage and I through Quail run was a good place to live before I moved my family in)
1. The Bathroom Sink started to leak, took maintenance 3 Visits (2 weeks) to fix it. and they left the carpet wet for the whole two weeks (I ask them to do something about it and they said there was nothing that they can do) The apartment started to smell like Mildow and we got sick.
2. The hot water heater started to leak took maintenance 4 visits (3 weeks) to fix.
3. The toilet upstairs (from another apartment)leaks in to our apartments. Soak everything we have in the bath room. about 160.00$ worth of stuff. They claims the insurance on it and they agree to pay for the damage on my items, But that was a lie, they have not make an attemp to pay for it at all .
4. when the Toilet leaks, they have to remove the ceiling and they could not stop the leaks for 4 days, the maintenace keep sayign that they have it fix and it still keep leaking. We have to go to emergency room twice because all of us got sick from the smell. they management would not move us or pay for our hotel stays while we could not use the bathroom for 6 days and the smell started to set in everything in our home including the persian Rugs.
5. I called the Health Department, so The health inspector make appointment to come down and meet the management. The day before, they have my bath room clean up and spray to get rid of the smell. then they past the inspection, also lie that it was not the toilet leak from up stair, it was a water from the tub. (the upstair renter told us that it was toilet, also the maintenance guys told us that it was the toilet/Sewer pipe). After the health inspector left, maintenance guys went back in and trash my bathroom and the leaks started again.
I break the lease and move (me, my feonce, my 3 years old son, my 6 months Lab) to a hotel and it was expensive because we have a pet. I talk to other Military Family that is renting from Quail Run, they have the Similar story to tell and they all trying to get out ASAP. Don't put your family through what I have to go through. We are a military family ,and it was during the war time. QUAIL RUN have no HEART, they couldn't even treat us like Human, I won't even let my dog live there. I was only there for 5 weeks, all the leaks are about the same time, started from first day we move in.
