I have lived in the Reserve for almost 3 years. When I moved in in May of 06, the staff could not have been better. They worked with me and made adjustments so that I could afford the costly fees that come with moving in. However, after about a year and a half, our great management was taken out. Over the next few months, managers were coming and going at an alarming pace. Our latest "manager" ----- has no compassion for tenants and treated me with disrespect and lies. I had to break my lease due to purchasing my first home. I knew that I would have to pay an extra month's rent, but not the large sum of money they made me pay. They charged me $50 for plastic blinds that they claimed were "metal and custom cut." Then they charged me over $40 a month for water/sewer even though I didn't occupy the apartment for the last 2 and 1/2 months of my lease. When I called the water company to see it this could be taken out of my name, they told me the apartment had to say so. When I called the apartment, they said no. After all was said and done and I spoke with corporate (who treated me like trash) they said that all I had to do was turn in my keys and I wouldn't have had to pay the sewer. When I asked why I was not told this when I called two months earlier, corporate did not believe that the office had not told me. They also charged me to replace the carpet in my entire apartment for the "urine odor" and "horrible stains." When I had done my walk through two days earlier, neither of these were problems. They did not work with me or even attempt to right the wrongs that they had committed while I lived there (such as entering without my permission and leaving threatening eviction notes for false claims.) I have lived in apartments for over 6 years and have never had one issue. The corporate office woman tried to charge me for a set of blinds to a window that I didn't even have and then proceeded to argue with me over this non-existant window. I would never recommend this apartment to anyone who wants fair prices, great service, or pets. Several of my neighbors received the same eviction notices for things that had been HAND WRITTEN into their lease by the old management. I have never been made to feel like less of a person or trash like their management and corporate office made me feel. PLEASE DO NOT RENT HERE!!
