Hi, this is Ryan, former recent tenant of a single apartment at Rivergate. You've probably been reading all the reviews on this site and are still considering whether or not they are all true. The cool thing is I'm going to confirm every single one of them. My rent was never raised from $524/mth, which is good, considering I'm a law student and I definitely would know what to do in that situation. Rivergate is a lawsuit waiting to happen with their practices. I'm currently waiting for my security deposit, but from reading the previous reviews that hit on the security deposit, I don't think I'll be getting mine back either. That's fine, I'll eventually get it after I take them to court, considering I cleaned the heck out of my apartment. Well, except for the black scuff marks that maintenance left when they would show up to fix my broken sink, lights, etc. They eventually fixed it, but very very late after I called them. I'm not going to reiterate things that have been said about this place in the past because I agree with everything. Bottom line, don't live here; make Rivergate have to close. It's funny that right before I moved out they had signs across the property about it being Domino's Pizza Night. You know, one would think it was a type of tenant appreciation gig. The only problem is, THEY CHARGED FOR THE PIZZA! Are you kidding me! This is exactly the problem with this place, it's a total facade of happiness, but it's really a piece of crap. After you read this and the previous reviews, I do hope you look elsewhere for an apartment. Thanks for your time.
