Rivergate should not even be called Rivergate because the gate NEVER works. The claim they are the only gated apartment community on Bentley Drive, but they NEVER work. That doesnt't make sense, does it'

They have a club house that residents cannot rent, the hot tub never works and the pool is very dirty.

Management is very unprofessional and unpleasant. Our kitchen sink was out for 3 weeks, yet no one was in a rush to fix it or apologize for the inconvenience of the kitchen sink being broke.

Maintainence staff was excellent...always friendly, polite and well trained. Fortunately, they all realized they could work in a better environment and have found jobs elsewhere.

Although we gave Rivergate a 33 day notice that we were moving out, they could not schedule a check-out appointment for us and then sent us a bill with clean up charges (although the apartment was completely cleaned), carpet steaming charges (although Rivergate NEVER steamed our carpet and we had normal wear and tear) and charges for rent (although the property manager told us the prorated amount we had to pay...she told us one figure, then we had to pay an additional amount and now they want even more money)...very unprofessional, huh'

For the amount you pay in rent at Rivergate, try to purchase a home. It is in a convenient location, but it is not worth the cost. Please find another place to live.

If Rivergate had a different property manager it would have potential. The cost would not be an issue if management had a better attitude and the property was better maintained, including the gate.
