Rather live on the Street

We moved from another state 03/03, it was great until apparently the apartments turned into HUD living, made several complaints about kids peeking into windows and nothing was done. The amenities are not what is advertised. Unless you count mold, bugs, cigarette butts, and the fact that the neighbors are not made to pick up after their animals. The pool wasn't even open until July! We live in a 900 sq. ft. apartment, 2 people. electric bils rin $150-170/ month. There has been 4 managers since we have lived here. There are neighbors upstairs and next to us that are related and running an illegal day care that has been known to management, and there was a verbal agreement made that we would sign a 6 month extention because they told us that our"day care" neighbors were going to be evicted, which was an untruth. I can lay in bed with the tv and fan on, bedroom door shut be on medication and still get woken up by the sounds of somebody dropping a bowling ball on the floor upstairs. We have been left nasty notes from these neighbors and air let out of our tires. The management does nothing. They do not care. we are going to the tenants union to see about getting out of our lease with Aimco paying our moving expenses. We had to live in an Aimco apt. down here to a job transfer that ws before our lease was up in or other state. I would not recommend Aimco to anyone!
