We moved into Tamarind about 7 months ago and I am currently counting down the days until we can move out. When we first were looking at this apartment, the staff was nothing but nice. However, once the lease was signed and money exchanged hands, we had nothing but problems. Two weeks before our scheduled move in date, they called to tell us the apartment would not be ready.(They had the wrong date for the previous occupants departure). So we agreed to push back for a deduction in first months rent. The day we moved in, we completed the required checklist and put in 3 workorders for various problems. The problems are still not fixed, 7 months later. The people in the community are loud and rude. The staff does nothing about it, even with complaints. Infact, they suggest you call the police instead of going to them to file noise complaints. The parking is horrible. If you come after 8pm, don't plan on parking anywhere near your building. I have lived in a few different apartments and condos, and by far, this is the worst place I have ever chosen. I will be leaving the second my lease is up.
