I have lived at The Arbors for 6 months and the first 2 weeks were wonderful! The grounds are clean and the first impressions of the office staff are that they are amazing! After you move in though, be warned that the ultra nice attitudes from most of the office staff quickly changes and you will feel as though you are on the hit list to a high school "click" once again.
Once you are in a lease attitudes quickly change. They do not take claims seriously and basically blow you off with issues that you may have. I was completely humiliated and degraded when I approached them regarding concerns that I had. There are many, many other military families that are here with us and you will be fine as long as you don't expect too much. I was surprised to see how nice of a place it seemed at first to the quick changes I noticed after about 2 weeks.
Also from the time I moved in there were several notices posted about robberies and break ins. I figured that since it was a gated community with many other Soldiers it was just a one time event but that was not the case. I have also witnessed several incidences when the police has been called because of "disputes" with residents- and remember I have only been here for 6 months!
It disgusts me that I fell for it and I am spending the same amount on rent that I SHOULD have spent on a house. (I was wrong in thinking I would be better off in an apartment close to other Military wives during PCS and Deployment times).
If you are looking to live here for a VERY short amount of time, you never require assistance or have issues here, then you would be fine. But if you try to express concerns and expect to leave at the end of your lease with your dignity-look elsewhere.

Hhmmm...They made you feel welcome, It's clean, gated, advised you on local break-ins, people aren't afrad to call police, and this sounds like they don't care?
