I recently relocated to Columbia and spent much time looking around at various apartments. After one horrible visit, I came to this site looking for apartments with higher ratings. I was initially very impressed with the Arbors. The exterior is very nice and looks upscale. My main issue with this apartment was value. For having such a nice exterior, I was expecting much more out of the interior of the apartments. I was disappointed to find your run of the mill, low quality appliances and cabinets. There was nothing about the actual apartments that impressed me at all. That's all well and good, but for the asking price I expected more.

On my way down the road, I passed The Haven at Windsor lake, and assumed it was out of my price range. I eventually looked them up, and discovered that the price is almost identical to The Arbors. The complex is almost brand new, and it was the one and only apartment that I was actually completely satisfied with. The offered me a move-in special that actually made it significantly less expensive than the Arbors.

I just wanted to pass this along to any potential renters to have the information I wish that I had from the start!

Myself and my husband visited this complex in search for a decent place to live, I also must agree 100% WITH THE PREVIOUS COMMENT, for the price they are asking, IT IS TOO MUCH, THEY DO NEED TO UPDATE THE APPLIANCES, MIGHT AS WELL SAY EVERYTHING, IT WAS HORRIBLE. CHEAP CABINETS (OLD) BATHROOM FIXTURES ETC. I ALSO WENT JUST HALF A BLOCK DOWN TO THE HAVEN AT WINDSOR LAKE BY THE WAY THIS IS A BRAND NEW COMPLEX ABOUT A YEAR OLD. SAME PRICE BUT THEY HAD AN EXCELLENT SPECIAL GOING ON. LOVE IT HERE SO FAR. BUT WE WOULD HAVE LOVED THE 2 BEDROOM, A LITTLE TOO PRICEY. GO DOWN THE STREET JUST A HALF A BLOCK NEW APPLIANCES, BIG ONE BATHROOMS IF YOU HAVE A ONE BEDROOM APT. NICE SIZE PORCHES. I WANT TO STAY, BUT I WANT A TWO BEDROOM, BUT WE HAVE TO PAY A LITTLE MORE. ANOTHER THING LOOK FOR APARTMENT COMPLEXES THAT ARE FAIRLY NEW. THESE OLD ONES GIVE ME THE CREEPS AFTER LIVING IN A NEW COMPLEX. WE MIGHT JUST EXTEND OUR LEASE UNTIL WE FIND ANOTHER NEW COMPLEX WITH SPECIALS. DON'T SKIMP ON QUALITY, REMEMBER YOU HAVE TO LIVE THERE... MIGHT AS WELL PUT SOME EFFORT IN LOOKING, IT MAY BE WORTH YOUR WHILE IN THE LONG RUN, TO BE HAPPY WITH A NICE, CLEAN PLACE, WHERE YOU ARE NOT AFRAID TO BRING FRIENDS OR RELATIVES OVER BECAUSE YOU WANTED TO SAVE SOME MONEY.

Dont think that the Haven at Windor lakes is that great! there is NOOO parking and the staff plays favorites with the tenates and are extreamly rude to you once you move in!! Also they let people who do not live there take over the pool in the summer... The Haven at Windsor Lake looks good but it is not!!!!!
