I have been living at the Fairways for 2 years now, but I am moving only because I am buying a home. I have a 2b/2b apt, and I have 1 child so it is enough for us. I would prefer to have a little more dining area, but the bar counter tops make up for some of it. I live on the second floor, so it is hard trying to walk around without making to much noise for the downstairs neighbors not to hear. I try to take into consideration that there are people who live below me. My neighbors are very nice and everyone in my building pretty much keeps to themselves. The parking is adequate. It gets a little crowded in the late evenings. The only problem I would have with the parking is that people are too lazy to park in a spot and they park there cars behind that other cars which makes it hard to get out in the mornings. I have almost hit several cars trying to get out in the morning. The walls are a little then though. When it is quiet in my apartment, I can here my neighbor walking and sometimes I thought it was my son getting up in the night. I can also here my neighbor in front of me through the bathroom walls. I can hear when they shower and turn on the fan in the bathroom. The grounds are always kept nice, with the acception of a few people thinking it is okay for their pets to use the restroom and not pick it up, but they have addressed this problem as well. The safety is very well, the shrubs are always kept in a neat order and the sidewalks are always cleaned. The quality of the fixtures are not too bad. The heating unit must be a pump because it blows cool air but there is a beautiful fireplace in the livingroom. Maintenance is great. Whenever I call it is taken care of that same day. You are always notified ahead of time when maintenance is going to enter your home when you are not there. I have never had a problem with the staff, they are always happy and friendly whenever you have a problem or concern. I have never lived in another apartment complex since I have been here but Fairways is very quiet and I feel safe letting my son play outside. The only problem that I have is that it does seem that they are letting a lot of young people move in and they do ride through fast and with their music up loud. In the summer they are sitting outside drinking and talking loud. I think if they don't start screening people better that they are going to have some great people moving out and the Fairways will turn into another slum apartment complex sooner than they think. Also, I think there should be a better policy on the size of some of the dogs they let live here. Some of these animals are not friendly and growl and bark whenever you are trying to walk through.
