First of all, I stayed here because the rent was really reasonable, considering other apartments in the area. But, if you are willing to settle for less then this would be the apartment for you. Otherwise, I would rather pay 150.00 more per month for the same size apartment, than to live in this complex. First of all, the neighbors are very loud. In order to get to the top apartments, you have to pass by my window. Needless to say, the windows are cheap and you can hear everytime anyone passes by or talk as they are coming through. One of my neighbors were friends with someone who stayed across the complex and they always brought their problems to our building. Second of all, my a/c began to leak. I called the emergency maintainance on Friday and he promised that the unit would be fixed by the following Thursday. Prior to the unit being fixed, I was asked to moved the TV out of the way. Well, by Wednesday, I had not heard anything from anyone concerning the unit so I decided to call to ask when they would be getting to it. The consultant stated that there were 360 other units on the property and only 2 maintainance guys and that my unit would be fixed whenever they got a chance. Needless to say, the unit dripped for about 3 1/2 weeks before someone came to fix it. I was so upset. Not only was the unit leaking, the guy asked me to try to capture the water to keep it from damaging the water heater. I felt that that was not my responsibility especially after the way I was treated. Then I had to deal with the mold in the closets and within the carpet in which they promised to come and steam clean. Oh yeah. They haven't made out there yet and it has been over a month. Not only that, my car was broken into after 2 months of being there. The staff acted as if it was normal and wasn't concerned. I was promised that an onsite officer was always on duty, yet the only time I see one is when 911 is called. I have to walk a mile or drive 3 miles just to get to the mailbox. And lets not talk about the bugs. I have more spiders and ants in my apartment than outside my apartment. It usually takes them a long time to get pest control out there. Like I say. If you can deal with settling for less, then this is the apartment for you. Even though the rent is on special at 399, you also have to consider the $30 water and sewer bill. I can not wait to leave. I wonder what will be said once I leave.
