The Rapids has a great convenient location, however, the train can be very loud sometimes, especially during rainy seasons and can keep you up at night. The walls are thin, but luckily our neighbors were never home so that wasn't a problem. I wouldn't recommend living here if you are not a USC student or want student living because the majority of residents are students and the complex can be noisy at times. However, the apartments are clean, maintenance is great, and the appliances work well. My main complaint is the cost- $800 for a 2 bedroom 2 bath apt. is too much without any special amenities or anything included (other than water). If you can afford it, you'll like living here, but I think it's possible to find something as nice for the cost.
