When my wife and I first moved in at the Rapids (2/05) it was a nice place to live. The office staff was very courteous and helpful, the maintenance team was great, parking was readily available, and the grounds were well kept. However, now (9/06) the office staff has changed (not for the better), the maintenance has gone downhill (we had to wait 1.5 months for our garbage disposal to be fixed), the parking lot is packed now (especially with cars who's owners don't know how to park properly), and the grounds have become trash ridden (due to the constant flow of new tenants not caring at all). If you're a USC student, I'm sure you'd fit right in with the rest of the crowd, but for my wife and I, we don't recommend The Rapids to anyone anymore. We did in the past, but you're better off elsewhere for your money.
