CHANGING THE NAME, WHY''''
From: -Anonymous-Date posted: 7/27/2009
Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2008
My family lived here from 2006 to 2008. This place was bad, but got worse when the owner from some forgein place took over and would not let management help the residents. Then he got rid of the manager and hires a crackhead who bring in her crakpot husband from rehab and the mental hospital, Yes they let this person have free reign of peoples home as he was hired as maintenance, but the owner got his when they ripped him off. that's right the crackhead and crazy husband stole from the hand that fed them. And what in the world do you call that in the office now, I'll tell you TRASH!!! they are rude and self asbored and not everyone that comes into that office wants to see nasty flab and boobs bouncing all the time, if they think this is cute, it's nasty and needs to go back to the trailer park. Then just last month a Security guard shoots and kills somone, Now really who would want to live in a community where people are getting shot. Where is RCSD, Oh yeah, if the property doesn't want to do anything about the crime they have created why should RCSD. Especially when the staff is invoveled in some of the things that go on there. I must honestly say I am glad that my family has vacated the worthless excuse for a community. The only renovated units around there are the ones they are still working on from the Oct.2008 fire, hum wonder how that one happened. and the area where that buildig is, the thugs and drugs run through there without anything ever being done. My family lived by the office and the pools hardly every stay open in the summer, drugs going through there also. The fitness center what a joke - from the 70's and private lake they boast about in all their ads and banners is not owned by them and it's not private. False advertisment I would say. they advertise laundry facilities, well I guess you could say there are 2, but pray that they work on the day you want to use them and pray that they are not nasty. Don't count on any help from the office or try and contact the owner,as they are always to busy doing nothing to help and if you try and contact the owner, he will not reply or acknowledge you, especially if you have a complaint. I would suggest one look for a house to buy or rent, before comming to this place. Now if your a thug, lowlife, or somone in general that cannot pay your rent, then this is the place for you. No background checks, you can be wanted and still get an apartment here, just give them the deposit and 1st month rent and your as good as in. The manager does not live on property and doesn't have a clue as to what goes on at night on that property. Hey who could blame her though, she has helped create the hood that this place has become. I'm sure she'll say it's not her fault, but hey lay with dogs get fleas. So This brings me to my title "Changing the name, why''' I'll tell you why, there has been so much drug and crime going ons, that people know when one say 7645 Garners Ferry Road, Everybody knows it's Colonial Villa so as gto kee everybody confused change the name to Villas on the lake and now Lake shore village, Hey instead of changing the name evrytime you make the news or papers how about clean up this place, just might be cheaper in the long run. At colonial Villa or Whatever it is now it just reverse discrimanation, especially if you are of the female persuasion. Do your research before you considering moving. Call RCSD and get the crime stats on this place and you can bet it won't be good. Since this property is up for sale, you can chek it out on loopnet.com you can be sure the only thing that will be fixed is the outside, because curb appeal sell.
