Relative to most the apartments in the Harbison-Irmo area, Wellspring isn't bad at all. Staff is friendly. Apartments are big - and you'll be hard pressed to find another complex that has a bathroom for every bedroom. Rent is a little high but you get what you pay for. That is, you can save $100 a month and live in a crummy place, but then you'd be living in a crummy place. Wellspring's neighborhood is nicer than most.

I would say I never had a problem with the neighbors, but after living there for about 8 months some idiots moved in below us and keep the noise going well past the 10:30pm quiet hours. They also smoke all the time. Beside them, the higher rent keeps Wellspring free of lower class people, for the most part.

Appliances are getting pretty old, but a refrigerator is a refrigerator and a stove is a stove. The apartments themselves are getting pretty old too.

The Harbison trails run through Wellspring, and Harbison Rec Center is a 2 minute walk away - as with most complex around Harbison you get a free membership. You also get a free membership to Gold's Gym or something (after a $40 fee), which is only about a 5-10 minute drive away.

Wellspring is located right on Harbison, very close to all the restaurants and stores and I-26, but situated so that you avoid Harbison traffic when getting on the Interstate.

No place to wash your car, but that's not uncommon.

Didn't have many maintenance problems, but they took care of the ones we did have very promptly.

There's a fireplace in the apartment, but very few use it.

There's a pond too, but unless your apartment faces it you won't really notice it.

W/D in apartment.

Decent deck - and you can grill on it.

The grounds aren't great or anything but they're free of trash.

Never used the pool but always saw it full of kids.

Lots of ducks. I mean it.

Overall, not a bad place to live. You could do a lot worse than Wellspring.
