When I first considered living at Wellspring I was very excited about living on the Harbison trail and having access to a swimming pool, unfortunately the Harbison trail is overrun with people who like to trespass onto my back porch and the pool is closed more often than it is open. I asked about the cleanliness of the apartments when I was thinking about moving into Wellspring, and the lady in the office assured me that she got down on the floor of the bathroom to clean behind the toilet. When I moved into my apartment it was filthy. The carpet had not been properly cleaned, the paint job was incredibly shoddy - it looked as though they had spray painted the smoke stained walls and there were stray paint marks everywhere including the carpet. The kitchen sink was leaking and had grown a nice colony of mold (I cleaned it due to the concern that they may try to charge me a pet fee), the apartment was simply disgusting, and that's coming from someone who is not considered to be a neat freak. After living there for about a month my roomate's car was demolished by a pine tree that should have been cut down years ago, the tree was as dead as dead can be, and it had just been left there. The pine did not fall due to a storm, it fell because of the NEGLIGENCE of the management group; they DO NOT maintain their property.. and sadly THIS WAS JUST THE BEGINNING. Wellspring, of course, refused ANY responsibility for the loss of the automobile, and then proceeded to cut down a few trees on the grounds for good measure. Shortly after that the grounds crew broke the glass on my back door when the mower kicked up a rock. I'm a busy person, I work two jobs, and so my roomate called the office to put in a maintanence request. We were put off for over two weeks, unable to use our back door. There was glass all over my living room, and the neighborhood children were playing in the glass on my back porch. Finally, when I went down to the office in person and made my complaint in front of a prospective tenant the door was fixed the next day. At this time I am struggling with the staff to get them to look at my laundry room since apparently the water heater on the floor above leaked through my ceiling. Hellspring is not worth the money, they are lazy liars - I cannot wait until my lease is up.

I remember the tree falling on those cars. It was after a very heavy storm. I wouldn't expect any apartment complex to "take ANY responsibility for the loss of the automobile" when a storm knocks over a tree. You have to get your own renter's insurance for apartments, why should your car be any different? It's not, that's life, it's not Wellspring's responsibility.
