The 'Hood In South Florence
From: sullivotDate posted: 5/4/2009
Years at this apartment: 1997 - 1998
These apartments were built in the early '70's, and SOME of them were modernized many years ago (although those "modernizations" are now severely dated) The unmodernized units actually look better than the ones with the ugly yellow siding. The front building and landscaping looks OK from the street, but drive into the back and it looks like it should be located in the 'hood....total neglect, along with old cars with tinted windows and flashy rims. I lived here in the mid-90's and things were on the decline, but it was livable. Today, between the crime and the run down buildings, don't even think about renting here. These need to be razed (along with nearby Sterling Apts and Country Club Apts) and rebuilt from scratch. Why are apartments with such good locations allowed to get into such disrepair' g-hKOS7s4Nq5n3hEIpHd
