I lived in an apartment here for just under a year. I found the staff to be uncaring and ineffective. When I was moving in, the manager welcomed me to the community and told me how warm and caring, almost like a family, Branchwood Apts. was towards its tenants. How the amenities were there for our convenience and were top of the line for our comfort and ease of use.
The 'air conditioned' laundry area was severely out-dated, and I always heard something dripping and could never figure out where it was coming from. The room and machines were always filthy, I don't think any of the staff ever went in there. The pool was out of the question, it had been taken over by the neighborhood kids, and you never had any peace when going there. The tennis courts are old and cracking, and is mainly used as a cut-through to the next neighborhood. Appliances in the apartments were cheap knock-offs; my freezer started melting a month after I moved in, both toilets would take turns crapping-out, and the screen door to the balcony and the sprayer for the kitchen sink never worked as long as I lived there.
It didn't seem to matter to them who they brought into the complex, either. There would be times, 1 two-bedroom apartment would have 5 people living in it, each one owning their own car. Don't even get me started on that; I have had to park up on the hill with the dumpster many times because every parking space, and every available patch of grass, was taken over by a huge truck or van. There would be loud and violent domestic disputes all around the area, flashing blue lights were no stranger to Branchwood.
It seems to me the staff was more interested in getting a little nookie in the office bathroom than doing their jobs. The only time I saw them actively reach out to the community would be when they had to collect money for something. Every other time they needed to contact you, they would sneak up and put a note on your front door, even if you were noticeably in the apartment. All in all, a very bad experience that I wouldn't wish on anybody. Happy hunting! uWDgQKY3Vkv8FKIsB8Ax
