We were able to secure an apartment from another state on very short notice, shortly afterward, my wife's car was vandalized. Nothing too major, just a badge pulled off the hood.

Parking is adequate in some spots, however the Fire Marshall apparently stated that cars can not be parked around the islands. I also have a neighbor with a bike which the office staff tried to stop him from parking it on his patio, yet provide no parking for bikes. Work vans must park near the "tennis court".

The grounds are very well kept. Groundskeepers come every Tuesday in season, no regards to weather. They can however be slightly rude and speak only broken English at best. Just nod, smile and let them do their job.

We haven't had any major incidents, but there was a man shot just up the road last year. I have a police scanner on most of the time and rarely if ever have heard any calls to this complex, and all of the calls have been domestic related crimes. Watch out for Crazy Kim though...she likes to walk around with a towel on her head and a Chiuhauha by her side, while talking to herself using "less than choice words" if you catch my drift...

Maintenance....don't bother. Just fix it yourself. Thank God I'm handy around the house because these people are worthless. My fridge broke while I was on my honeymoon far out west and came home to a 5lb roast liquified on my kitchen floor. Their reasoning was a tube was clogged or something. My roof also leaks and every summer we have to spend at least 1 month swealtering in Charleston heat because they won't fix or replace the air conditioner that was installed in 1991.

I'm glad they got rid of the woman they hired after Ms. Heather left....she was a waste of air. While Tab was on maternity leave, this girl showed up at the office at 10 am, took a 2 hour lunch and left at 4. I could not use the laundrymat because she closed the office before I could come home to put money on the card. They fired her...good riddance. Tab and the new woman have been EXCELLENT though. (Congrats on the baby!)

They recently renovated the laundrymat...brand new machines and everything. Very nice, and your clothes are very clean.


I'd give them an 8 out of 10.

Crazy Kim, is that her name? How about I used to live in Townhouses at Pine Harbour II, and while walking my dog she would come walking by! How hilarious that you mentioned her! I thought I was the only person that thought she was crazy : )
