WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!

If you are looking for a friendly environment, you are looking in the wrong place! Caledon Wood is the worst living experience I have ever had! It is a nightmare!
There was an instance when out neighbors had thrown up in the breeze way leading to our apartment. I put in several calls to the office to have it cleaned up because it was embarrassing to have anyone come to visit. It wasn?t taken care of. After making several calls for at least two weeks, I finally called the office and expressed my disgust in the matter and I was told to go out and pour hot water and clorox on it and sweep it off myself. I then had to call the regional manager and have her come to the complex and get it taken care of!
There were instances when we needed maintenance to attend to our apartment. We would put a call in to the office. When it was not taken care of, we would call back to the office and the order for maintenance had never been submitted!
In July of 2002, I attended the ?Resident Pool Party?. While participating in several events, I won two different cards for $50 off the next months rent. When I turned in my rent the next month, I put a money order and both cards for a total of $100 off rent in an envelope and sealed it up and handed it to the manager. Two days later, I received a note on my door saying that I owed $50 in rent for that month. When I called the office to question them about it, they claimed to have only received one card for $50 off. When I started exclaiming about the situation, they ?decided? to take my word for it. They knew from the beginning exactly what was in that envelope when they opened it.
In the summer of 2002, I made several calls to the office to have them spray for fire ants. It was not taken care of!!! One day, I went in my son?s room (who is 3 years old) to get him some underwear! When I opened his drawer, there must have been thousands of fire ants in that drawer! I had to take the drawer outside (while getting bit by fire ants) and dump everything out, spray for ants myself and clean up all the dead ants!
When I first moved in, we had to pay a $150 "non-refundable" fee that was supposedly intended for clean up and maintenance. When we moved out, they tried to charge us $125 for cleaning the apartment. They said it should have been just as clean as when I moved in! I lived there for almost 2 years, so it is obsurd to think that it should have looked as it did when I moved in. Once again, I had to go to the regional office to get another problem taken care of! The regional office is wonderful and will help you in what ever problem arises but if you are looking for service from the office, you might as well not even pick up the phone!
I would not recommend this apartment complex to my worst enemy! The apartments are nice but the service from the office is horrible! BuLYzGcKAVo8MQPlcXJq
