My stay went relatively smoothly until I moved out. We thought we cleaned the apartment really well and left everything spotless...we were wrong. Caledon Wood will hit you with cleaning charges no matter what! My suggestion is to have a lazy lease office person come to your apartment when you're ready to turn in the keys to make sure they verify everything is in order and no cleaning charge will be assessed, or you can just write a bunch of items on the move-in checksheet that aren't really there, i.e. random stains on carpet, miscellanous marks on walls, to cover yourself at move-out.

Leave the apartment filthy. If they're going to charge you anyway no matter how well you clean up after yourself, at least make them work for the money. Greedy little ba$tards!

If people are pigs, they will live like pigs......If they don't clean at move out....then they NEVER cleaned when they lived in the apartment....
