I have lived at Caledon Woods for eight months and will renew my lease this week. My 2 BR apartment was very clean upon move in and nicely decorated. It is a little on the small side, but other than that, I love it.

My apartment is located in the front side of Building 1. The only complaint that I have on this particular apartment is that the traffic noise from Pelham Road is MUCH louder than I expected. There is a Fire Station and a hospital just down Pelham which results in sirens from one or the other almost every night. Also, unless you are a heavy sleeper, forget sleeping in on weekends, the traffic noise from Pelham will wake you up just like an alarm clock. I wish my apartment was further off Pelham so I could have avoided this noise, but you live and learn. I would have still selected Caledon Woods as my home, but I would have avoided Building 1 due to the noise level.

Also, I have had some plumbing issues. Nothing major, just plugged toilets. The maintenance guys have fixed the problem within hours of my call/email every single time.

The office staff has ALWAYS been very courteous and professional with me. I have had no issues what-so-ever with rudeness from anyone at the complex. From the office staff to the maintenance staff, everyone has been great.

I am sorry that the approval rating on this complex is so low, because this is a great community with a lot of wonderful amenities. You should keep this community on your list if you are looking.

As for neighbors, you can hear some movement/noise between the apartments, but hey, it is to be expected because you are, after all, living in an apartment complex. It is not too loud as has been stated in other reviews, or maybe I just have extra considerate neighbors.

All in all, I would highly recommend this complex.
