I have lived here for almost one year now. I have never complained publically or privately and never had any complaints about me while living here. Although certains 'events' may have happened in the past here...the same sort of stuff has happened at most apartment complexes. I spend 1/2 of my week living with my girlfriend who lives in another apartment complex by other management in Greenville. There has been a lot of Auto and motorcycle theft at my girlfriends apartment, there are multi floor aparements in her complex and the floors creek from the upstairs tenants the walls are paper thin there and I could complain about HER complex all day and night ;-) But that's not why I'm writing THIS review. I writing THIS one because I have enjoyed most of my time at Bellwood. I've found the management to be friendly and understanding. When I first moved in there where things wrong with the apartment which I hadn't noticed prior to moving in. 8 months into my stay I asked them to resolve those issues like Missing screens, replacing a failed ceiling fan...and they did so without complaint and they took my word for these items having been faulty prior to my move in...and this was 8 months LATER! I believe that the management here is fair and understanding. There are LOTS of varying types of people living here from elderly to young folks. With all these varying types of people will ALWAYS come varying points of view and opinions and at times there might be conflict this is NORMAL. Management seems to have done the right things since I've been here...and frankly I truly appreciate their efforts.

The apartments are clean, functional, conveniently located (for me at least).

My complaints have never been voiced to management here, but they are that the trash compactor tends to be full more often than not. That I sometimes see children actually INSIDE the compactor...(HUH'!)...yep...I have NO IDEA why...but this is more a complaint of "Where are their parents!'" than of anything else. My BIGGEST complaint is that the onsite repairmens son drives like a bat-out-of-hell throughout the complex. His truck is LOUD and his habits are obnoxious and predictable. I'm not complaining about his father or the management but the fact that his consistantly BAD behavior seems to be overlooked by both...

Other than those few minor issues I've been quite pleased living in this complex. The behavior and habits of my neighbors is fairly normal for complex living...my duplex neighbors are the best ever! Very pleasant, and quiet.

People in this complex adhere to the quiet after 11pm (actually its quiet 95% of the time, accept for the crazy speeding maintenance mans son, who will probably end up driving over a child someday!) ;-)

I have no pets, or children. I plan on staying here at least for another year. I have seen many of the alternative complexes around greenville, and this one is definately in the top 3 in my humble opinion.
