To the individual who posted opinion about Fairway. 11 year lease is not true. Less than a year. Individual did have a roomate and he made him leave. shortly after that is when this individual had problems so to say. Office changed locks. No froced entrys on break in, which clearly indicates it was someone who they knew. Our staff never entr a unit without prior notification. This individual has some issues and there are damagesd to their apartment casued by his aggression. Door was kicked in and this was noticed back in November. Individual is upset becasue they are breaking their lease and will have to pay termination fees. What is posted on this site is not always the truth. There are two sides to every story and this is ours.

I would have to agree with the above statements. My husband and I have lived here since June, and we have never had any problems with any of the maintenance crew. Whenever they have had to come while we were not at home, they ALWAYS left a note saying that they were there, and they were there due to us calling them to fix something. There are some people who live here that are not right in the mind, so please pay no head to the "11 Year Lease" person. Also, a land lord has the right by law to look in on the condition of the place they are renting out if they have a good reason to. The staff at The Fairway Club has always been very friendly and helpful. They don't break into the apartments.

First of all did you ever think the "11 year lease" guy might have made a mistake and meant "11-month lease?" Before you start attacking the integrity and honesty of someone who may have made a simple mistake you need to give it a second though.
Next, it is not legal for the office staff to enter someone's home without notice to "look in on the condition" of the rental unit. The office or maintenance staff has to make sure the tenant knows that their home will be entered, when it will be entered, and for what purpose. To come in to simply "look-in" or to come in with no advance notice is illegal and does constitute breaking and entering in most locations. In response to maintenance requests, most reputable communities leave confirmation they've been there, for what purpose, and what action was taken.
It speaks leaps and bounds about the professionalism of this office staff for them to post information about a resident on a public website. The tenant states he had no roommate and the office staff states that he does. While all roommates should be documented on the lease as either leasholders or occupants, sometimes this doesn't happen. For a roommate to leave who was a leaseholder, the other roommate will need to sign off on removing him or her from the lease. Once this happens, the roommate then no longer has right to enter the apartment.
It also irks me that this office staff member will say "No forced entry, so it was someone they knew." Since when is the office staff qualified as law enforcement and able to come to these conclusions?
Finally, the tenant was judged by what may have been a typo, so I'll judge the office staff by the many typos in their posting as well as the multiple misspelling of various words. While there are always different sides to every story - I think this office staff is probably as shady as they come.
