Gleneagle

 

I have read several of the reviews and I understand that these are legitimate concerns.

I have lived here several years and there are several other residents who have lived here 5 years and more so it can't be that bad of a place.

What impressed me about Gleneagle is the beautiful grounds and for a complex this old, it is kept up.

Believe me, I have seen a lot worse.

The apartment size is great too compared to some.

As for noise, there will always be noise.

To expect not to hear someone walk overhead is unrealistic.

That doesn't bother me as long as they don't stomp around and it isn't all hours of the night.

Some of the concerns mentioned, such as parking, unattended guests, etc.

that still exists.

Some areas of the complex have worse parking problems then others.

I think that one parking spot per apartment should be allocated.

They don't need to be numbered, but they could be marked Resident.

An inexpensive paper tag could be hung on the resident's sun visor to denote that they are a resident, i.e.

like the ones they issue at Clemson for parking at the ball games.

Management has started a Crime Watch Program that meets on a monthly basis, but there is low attendance.

This is a good time and place to bring up issues of safety, etc.

All in all, I am happy here.
