lived in this place for about three years and the only reason I havent moved is because I was not at the place with all the finances that come with moving. I have had several problems with my apartment...the sink and bathroom have been broken and they have failed to fix it, even after several times of asking and making dates. Also there have been many bugs and the wall paper is horid and old. There was a mold problem in one of the rooms for a year now and they did not call a contractor until last weekend. When the guys finally came, they didnt cut all of the mold out of the ceiling, they sprayed LYSOL up in the ceiling, and they painted over tacks and tape that had been on my childs wall. They also left paint spots all over the floor. The carpet is dirty and old and they refuse to clean it. They did however bring me a new fridge- after mine had been broken for several months and I had to use a mini fridge until they brought mine. They havent cleaned the air filters for half a year, and they signed a contract saying they would come every end of the month. Maybe its just me, but I have had the worst experience in huntington downs that i have ever had in living in an apartment.

I am reitired and have lived at Huntington Downs for about 15 years and for the first time in my 15 years of living here we actually have a caring staff. They come by and pick my tash up as I had requested and have even offered to pick my rent up for me. I find this really hard to believe, however in most cases when a resident post this kind of negativity they are being evicted or have been ask to leave due to a violation of the lease agreement.
