Shouldn't it be illegal to lie to the residents'

Since living here, I have been lied to by the management on several occasions. We have had a broken access gate for months. There has been several eta's given on the time this gate would be fixed. Still, have broken gates. We were lied to about the pool hours. We were lied to about getting new cabinets in the apartments. We were lied to by management.. stating we could have only 2 guests per apartment at the pool.. but management can have as many as they want. This place has gone down hill. When I moved in.. this place was very nice and management was considerate. No such luck now. My advise.. move out!
