I have lived in Walden Creek since they opened years ago and was happy with everything. When I got my renewal rate a couple of months ago, they raise my rent from $623 to $750! This was for a one bedroom apartment! Needless to say, I moved and taking some other residents with me to my new place. Yes, it is new and very nice....but for the price that you will pay, I would choose somewhere else.

I would like to say that, yes, the rent is a liitle higher at Walden Creek but you get what you pay for. Walden Creek did have a $10 rent increase for the first time in 3 years (not bad, huh?) However, please keep in mind that when you rent an apartment (whether it be at Walden Creek or somewhere else)if you receive a special during your first lease term, that special will usually end at the end of your lease, causing you to have to pay market rent. However, I can't stress enough what a wonderful property Walden Creek. If you are wanting luxury- you sometimes have to pay a little more.

The expression "luxury apartment" is an oxymoron. Living right behind Wal-mart and with neighbors right beside and below and/or above you isn't exactly living the good life. :)
