I was so relieved to finally get out of my lease with Walden Creek.

On the outside, the complex looks nice enough BUT....that's where it ends.

The structure of the buildings is already deteriorating (the buildings were completed recently--I believe 2004). The floors are laid poorly and the carpet is very low quality and installed even worse same goes for the linoleum. The wall's plaster is such low quality that there were multiple fissures and cracks that played host to bugs unless I regularly sprayed them. THe lay out is not made for living there--closets are weirdly placed, the kitchen is not laid out well, water heater closet encroaches on personal space etc.

The maintenance crew are very nice people and IF the leasing office staff actually does their job and tells them about a complaint they usually are very prompt, but that's a big if. One of my biggest complaints is the leasing office staff.

The people who work there do not tell the truth when you initially apply and move in and that precedent is kept the entire time you're there. The high-schoolesque antics you've read about in other reviews are true. The rules of the complex are enforced unfairly and certainly not adhered to by those employees that live in the complex themselves.

I would not recommend this apartment complex to anyone who wants to have a peaceful and positive experience. Especially with what they charge for rent (which they lie about and then charge you more by virtue of not telling you things).
