Regency WOULD be a great place to live, but the owners are very deceiving and extremely rude. When I moved in everything was great, I loved it. But when it was time to move out they charged me for things that I had not done (i.e. an iron burn UNDER my bed), they made me pay to have the entire room re-carpeted, however another man moved in the day after I moved out so the carpet was never replaced. I paid for all new window blinds in the living room (for all the windows) because one slat had popped off one blind, again though the blinds were not replaced they simply fixed that one, BUT I had to pay for all new ones. The kicker though was when Tim, the manager, and I had a discussion (with a witness there) about my dog and how he was not going to be in the apartment (but that he would be living with my bf) so he told me I would not have to pay the pet deposit. However, when move-out time came the owner told me he was charging me the pet deposit because he knew I had a dog, even though he hadn't stayed there. The owner made me call Tim on speakerphone to ask him if he really said this, but Tim freaked out and said we would discuss it when he got back in town. Needless to say, he lied about what he said and I had to pay the pet fee. I ended up losing my deposit and had to pay them about $300 more on top of the deposit. IT IS A RIPOFF. They are unfair, dishonest business owners. It's all about scheming people for money. Just beware it looks like a great place to live, but in the end all they want is a way to get more money out of you.
