I lived in Ashton woods for a year. Needless to say, I got out as soon as I could because of the poor overall service I received while living there. When I lived there, they were remodeling the apartments, so I often had workers in and out of my apartment. They usually tracked mud, dirt, and God knows what else into my apartment. Also, some of my belongings came up missing while the work was being done. When I complained to the office about this, they basically told me I was lying. needless to say, I was livid. Also, while the construction was being done, they installed new windows. The night this was done, I came home to a nice big boot print on my white sheets (the bed is by the window) and a hole about 1/2 an inch wide and about 1 1/2 feet long where the window didnt line up. This was in the middle of the summer, and my air couldn't keep up with the leak. when I mentioned this to management, they told me to put duct tape over the hole until the workers could fix it. Excuse me' Duct tape' When I'm paying $545 a month for an apartment, I expect a little better than that, sorry. Also, when I moved out, I was told that they didn't receive my notice to vacate the premeses, and they were going to charge me some ridiculous fee for it. In addition to this, if that wasn't bad enough, they refused to do a walkthrough with me when I moved out. I wanted to point out the damage the workers had done so that I wouldn't be charged. Of course, they attempted to charge me anyway. This is definitely not a place I would recommend to ANYONE looking for a decent place to live.
