I have lived in Ashton Woods for two years and for the most part I have enjoyed my stay here. There are always good and bad things about ANYTHING! Some of the other reviews refer to infestation problems which I can relate to. I have had problems with insects but it hasn't been so bad that I had to complain about it. Just the normal ins and outs of critters. I mean they will find their way in sometimes! Also there has been many times that the "gated community" was not really gated due to the gates being open weeks at a time. I also don't like the feeling that I'm paying for many amenities that I don't use. This community is more family oriented and not really for those without a family. It is also true about the unprofessionalism of some of the staff. Some of the staff are very pleasant and a few of them are just doing their jobs without really caring for the residents. Those are the staff members that make you want to slap their heads off sometimes. Like any place that you stay do much research before deciding to move in! Overall, I like my apartment, especially because of location, but that does not mean that Ashton Woods is for everyone.
