I have lived here for approximately 2years . Since the departure of Tina our previous manager, the upkeep of the apartment and its exterior has went down hill. In a brief conversation with the new manager, Amy, she informed me that the owner(s) had to layoff the landscaper and maintenance crew and they are basically doing the yard and repairs themselves,. meaning she and her husband. My question is," If you increase the rent by $50.00, wouldn't you have enough money to cover the expense labor for a landscaper and maintenance crew. Especially, if there are 76 units and the prices range from $600.00 - $850.00. I do not know how true the statement, but rumors are spreading that the owner is broke and filing bankruptcy. Is this true' Everything was well maintained when Tina was incharge. Not saying that the new manager, Amy isn't doing her/his job.It could be related to the increase inrent and the laying off of complex helper seems to raise eyebrows. Overall, I like living here. I must admit, they have made arrangements with me to meet my rent, especially when employment hours were decreased and automobile repair made it difficult for me to pay my rent on time.
