I lived here a year ago, we continuously had problems of our own. Ants and spiders. I had a two year old and was always worried about him being bitten. When we moved in there was a hole in the bathroom wall and the maitnance man was to fix it that week. He covered the hole just well enough to keep my son's hands out of the wall, and that was the extent of that. The lease we signed was only 1 page, and if you have ever lived in an aparment, you know there are usually about 10 pages you have to sign. My husband joined the army and we had to move out. There was nothing spacific in the lease that would allow us and le-way on the payment. Just to give the office 30 days notice and pay that months rent. We gave them 30 days notice and now they are wanting to charge us $1800! One months rent is only $595, not $1800! Most apartments have a military clause that states that if the lease holder is called, they will not be charged any additional fees...Bull! That lease was crap! Just Don't Do It!
