I lived at the Polo's for 9 months and thought that the management was the greatest. I went outside the things that were required as a resident to help promote the property in organizing the games for the game room and delivery as well as setup.
I contributed in ideas and paid rent without any problems.
Well my problem began when I explicitly told the management that I would move following my six month lease. One of the girls there convinced me that with extending for three additional months my lease would be the same and and would give me time to close on a home that I had planned on moving into.
I thought of it as a nice thing to do to accomodate my needs and so I extended for the three months with the understanding that I would at that time move out.
It was understood but the closer the time to leave the more pressure I received from management not to do so but I still VERBALLY informed them that I would be leaving. Anyway to make a long story short, the week came to move out and I meticulously cleaned the apartment prior to vacating.
I brought the keys back to the managemtent to say goodbye and they slapped me with insult and contract. They denied ever knowing that I was leaving and told me that I owed for two months since I gave no written notice.
I watched the same management give money away at pool parties to those willing to jump into the swimming pool with clothes on and would not cooperate with me over contractual issues. I told Kathy that I would not pay and she then informed me of a collection that would take place and go against my credit report which was the only thing that I feel was not a lie. I had to have this experience to tell of the true character of management and her cronie.
The propery is nice but loud and I will never return.
Others in town are better equiped and managed.
