At first we were pleased by the fact that this place was slightly cheaper than the rest- but you honestly pay for it later. The place is like a ---- regime that plays favorties. If the managers don't like you they don't allow you to do anything- have potted plants, decorate outside, etc. We were even given grief about placing a small toybox outside while other people keep old grills and other unsightly objects. The have huge dumpsters by the apartments that attracts bugs. We've had a bug problem almost the whole two years we've been living here. While the maintence staff is friendly and efficient it takes the office multiple calls to the office to get something done- we were supposed to get a water logged cabinet drawer changed and we're moving out (six months after we put in the request) and it still hasn't been done. We can also hear the train run every night!
After we moved in they did some "repairs" to the baniters we had asked them to remove to move in our furniture and we noticed they purposedly painted in the screws so they'd be hard to remove later. Also- partially our fault- but still kinda wrong, we verbally notified them of our intent to move by the end of the month- and at the end of the month suddenly no one spoke to my husband and we have to pay the extra month of rent. It might have be courteous for them to have let us know that we needed to have WRITTEN notice.
All in all- The landing is a really a bad place to consider for renting.
