I am very sorry for those of you who had bad experiences at Greystone Loch.
I do agree that no place is perfect and that Greystone Loch does have its problems, but, overall, we have been very satisfied living here.
We have been here since they opened up in 2000, and have nowhere near experienced the 'horror' stories I am reading about.
Yes, we have had incidents of parties, but I understand that we are not living in a retirement community. We used to party years back, so we simply say something to our neighbors, and that's always seemed to work.
We also sleep with the vent on in our bathroom, and that really works to muffle noises.
I had a friend that moved in to an apartment with really horrible carpet, but the management gave them the choice to get new carpeting with a slight increase, or to keep the existing. They chose to keep the existing carpet.
I really am sorry for all of you with bad experiences. Trust me, it is difficult with a regular turn over in management, but our new manager is very good.
I have lived here for 5 1/2 years, and I would definitely reccommend it to others. It really is a beautiful place and the apartments are adorable.
