I viewed these apts. last summer. I was waiting for a confirmation of employment and had mailed my application fee and a $400 security deposit to hold (any) apt. until that confirmation. My plans changed within the month and the mgt. refused to refund my $400 security deposit. Don't they get enough rent to not rip off future tenants' I would NEVER rent from this poorly managed community--- they really don't know how to cultivate future tenants. If they treat a prospective tenant this way--- how do they treat the tenant after they move in' This is the only bad experience I have had on the Island since vacationing there for more than twenty years. It appears that there were a lot of vacancies and this security deposit rip off was and income producer for them.
