I moved here from Miami, needed a place quick and luckily landed at Jamestown Village. Only minutes to downtown and the college of Charleston and only about 15 minutes to work about 10 miles away in the old Navy yard.
Grocery, movies and beaches are all minutes away. And you do not have to deal with anything remotely close to the traffic out on Mt Pleasant, plus the prices are better on James Isle. My neighbors were a little loud, but one bad apple doesn't ruin this place. The tennis and basketball courts and pool are great. THe dryers in the laundry seem to run a little cool is my only minor complaint.
