I used to live at Riverland Woods and the management is completely incompetent. For example, I have never owned a pet but the apartment that I lived in became infested in fleas from the abundant pet population and poorly kept grounds (Dog crap EVERYWHERE!!!). Not only was I blamed for the incident but the manager at the time was extremely rude about the whole problem. It took weeks to get the problem resolved and I was expected to leave my apartment as well as clean all of my funiture to keep the fleas from coming back. I was told that I would have to pay for carpet replacement if the fleas came back, yet I did not even have a pet!!!! Example #2: When I was finally able to get the hell out of there at the end of my lease, my roomate left a cot in the storage area outside. Otherwise the apt was in great condidtion and well maintained. They charged us about $150 and instead of calling me on the TWO telephone numbers they had filed for me, they sent the debt to a collection agency. I had no clue that I even owed them $. POOR BUSINESS PRACTICES, RUDE MANAGEMENT, UNKEPT GROUNDS, TERRIBLE PARKING, PAPER THIN WALLS, BY FAR THE WORST PLACE THAT I HAVE EVER LIVED!!!!I can't even begin to describe. Don't be fooled by any special promotions they offer, THIS PLACE SUCKS, SUCKS, SUCKS.
