Management has changed hands more times than I can remember. I think we are on 3rd or 4th "Generation Mangement" and at least 7th or 8th "Generation Personel". the current management company, "Intermark", leaves much to be desired. the office staff will most assuredly drown if it rains as their noses are stuck so far up in the air. They are rude, incompetent, and only care about filling apartments. If you are a resident you are ON YOUR OWN! Work orders that are never done, repeated calls for service that never happen, rules that are not enforced, this names just a FEW of the problems with the current management. Skateboarders have been a continual nuisance here, I have literally watched teens skateboard right past office personell down the sidewalk and the staff does nothing as they are too busy talking on their cell phones. Pool was closed due to vandalism for about week. Office staff literally seems fearful of teenagers and confrontation therefore does nothing to enforce the so called "rules" of the property. Entering the office is like walking into an interrogation chamber. they seem perturbed and annoyed that you might possibly ask them for something or try to engage them in conversation. Even the staff, to include maintenance, that lives on the property does not abide by simple everyday rules....like stopping at a stop sign. I was almost t-boned by member of the staff who blew right through a stop sign at a three way stop IN THE COMPLEX and was most assuredly going well over the posted complex speed limit. I have lived here for three years, I intended to stay for four years; I can assure you that this WILL NOT happen now. Intermark raised the rent prices up to 80-100.00 PAST market value. The so called "fishing dock/recreational area" at the lake front is an absolute joke. they overwater the grounds to the point the ground in moldy and they water in the heat of the day (hey guys, watering in the heat of the day KILLS GRASS) and the water is pumped from a "fishing pond" they is polluted with garbage. the water in said pond is the runoff from the complex, so it contains all sorts fun chemicals that leak from cars. Do you like your car' Do you like it to stay clean' Forget about it. The water pumped from the "fish pond" into the sprinkler system will stain your vehicle and leave water marks that require quite a bit a work to get off. Not too mention the smell from said sprinkler system is horrible, very similar to sewage. Sleep is a troubling factor. Large firewroks have been erupting from inside the complex quite a bit. This makes sleep difficult at best. This complex used to have a curfew for persons under 18 years of age and it worked quite well. Not anymore. Do yourself a favor and move somewhere else, even Hamiltons Bay would be better than this place. The rude staff and lack of concern for residents is purely a deal breaker in itself.
