BAD BAD BAD- They say they are a "luxury" apartment, however are the cheapest made apartments I have ever seen. The white plastic "covering stuff" on the kitchen cabinets (kinda like paint, but not) peels off all around the edges making the kitchen look horrible- The fixtures are the cheapest and flimsiest I have EVER seen. (The hot and cold symbols on the faucet in kitchen would constantly fall off and the metal was so cheap you'd swear it was really plastic. All the drawers and cabinets were smaller than standard, so in the utensil drawer you couldn't even put a utensil holder in them. That's right- forks and spoons and knives lay bare in a drawer. The shelves in the upper cabinets were very flimsy as well- the shelf our plates were on (stonewear) sagged like the shelf would actually break (we only had about 6 plates) The building was not made to code. I have a 37 inch mountable TV and could not mount it properly because the studs, get this- seriously, were over 2 1/2 feet apart!!!!! Is that even legal' We had to mount a large piece of wood to the wall to attach the TV to because the studs were so far away.
What was more concerning is that one of the buildings just down from us started on FIRE in the middle of the night! Thank God some guys were coming home from the bar or something and put it out. The fire started from poor wiring (no proper ground wire) by the electrical ports by the airconditioner boxes. There are pine needles all around the air conditioners and the fire started right up. I am very happy no one was hurt, but I really wish that the fire department would have been called to do an official inspection, I don't think it ever got looked into and that I feel is a major SAFETY hazard.
The garden tub bathtub was made out of some kind of soft plastic... by soft I mean that it is kind of porous or something... as in the dirt/grime got on and would not be easily cleaned off. Its like the plastic is semi-absorbent. The tile behind the tub wasn't really tile at all- it was a plastic sheet with squares stamped into it. You can push on it and it billows in and out. There is not a solid wall behind it. The carpeting was absolute crap and wore out extremely quickly (when we moved out they tried to say that we "wore it out" and tried to charge us for new carpet.. we lived there for over a year and a half. (I swear the carpet may have been used when we moved in- our neighbors said the people before us had lived there for about a year and they never saw the apartment change the carpet before we moved in)
Parking for us was terrible- they say there is enough room for each apartment to have 2 vehicle spaces.- We had one vehicle and just about every day had to park 2 buildings down. What luxury apartment do you have to walk 2 buildings length just to get to your building''
They are obsessed with money and finding new things they can charge residents for. At one point they hired a police officer to patrol the complex and while patroling make sure tenants cars had current registration... Im sorry what'' You may be thinking... Yes, they had a cop in the complex to bust their own renters. Lets charge our tenants ridiculous rent rates for what they're receiving and then try to get them fined if they're running late on registration. I bet they got a piece of the ticket if one was ever written. I know on Pizza night... Thursdays you get $5 pizzas from Papa Johns as a special- they get a cut of however many pizzas are ordered. I could go on for hours about all the crap with this place- and I'm usually a very chill person that is overly calm. I think the only reason they get away with alot of the stuff they do is because SC laws are almost non-existent.
Basic idea is they are GREEDY, VERY GREEDY, cut all corners possible, and the apartments are not only far away from being able to incorporate the word "luxury" in their title, but less than standard and out of building code. Take heed and do not move here. Unless you feel like living in a very crappy place and handing over thousands of dollars to the management staff.

Whoever said This review wasn't helpful is clearly management trying to dieter potential tenants from reading this review. Everything that this former tenant wrote is dead on. My lease is going to be up in a month and a half and I personally can't wait to get out of here.
