Don't let the name on here fool you, this property is now called "The Reserve at Mill Landing," not the Old Mill Apartments. A name change will fool some, but it should not change anyone's opinions regarding the apartment complex. I have no complaints about the apartment itself, other than the construction and paint are cheap (walls smudge really easy).

My main complaint is with the differences between what I was told verbally and the numbers that were manipulated in my lease agreement. If you decide to move in to this complex, DO NOT TRUST ANYTHING THEY TELL YOU VERBALLY!!! One staff member will tell you one thing, and another goes back on that person's word. My biggest issues have been in regards to which utilities are payable, the maintenance staff not emptying the dog waste bins, and the general disregard for my personal interests by the staff. The property flyers advertise that cable is free, but when they tell you your rental amount, go ahead and add $25 to that because they will put the charge in as utilities in your lease.

Read the lease thoroughly and completely, and if they tell you that you don't have to pay them something, don't believe them. Also, be very clear ahead of time to the language of their "discounts" and "specials." They have different amounts listed on different documents, and they play with the numbers to charge you more than they tell you verbally. The amount on the "Welcome Letter" they give you is not the same amount that they put in the lease, regardless of how they want to explain it when questioned.

I would not recommend to anyone that they live in this complex, or have anything to do with it.

You should get a lawyer and get some other tenants together for a class action law suit.
