Don't come here

The staff may seem nice, but once you sign the lease, that goes away quickly. Maintenance very slow, then when its "supposedly fixed" its not. The walls are paper thin in this apartment complex, and with your bedroom sharing a common wall with your neighbor's bedroom wall, well let's just say you hear EVERYTHING. I can hear my neighbors, over the noise of a fan and humidifier, i can still hear EVERYTHING. My current neighbor has a baby that cries and gets me up at about midnight and 4am. Not that I blame the neighbor, but when I talked to apartment management they seemed to act like I was stupid and that I was making these things up. As for the noise policy here, with the walls being paper thin, of course anytime anyone wants to play their music slightly loud, it sounds like a concert. Of course the apartment management does nothing for that either.
The apartment complex allows pets, but no one is required to pick up after their pet, so there is dog poop everywhere in the lawns.
There is nothing for the kids in the complex to do except ride their bikes out in the main driveways, which creates a huge problem for people driving through, making sure they avoid all the kids, so as not to injure them.
The apartments are not very well built in terms of structure, with nails that should have been covered during the drywalling phase hanging out, poorly cut holes for ceiling fans, plumbing, and the bathroom and kitchen flooring is composed of the same tiles you would find in a grocery store (and are very slick when there is water on them).
Overall, I would avoid this place like the plague, the only reason I took this apartment was because I had just completed a 2500 mile trip to move here, and this was the only place that had something available (which should have clued me in to begin with!) For what you pay, this place is not worth it. Please look around more, and be sure to start looking for a place at least a month or two in advance, so you can get into a better place.
