There must be another Thornhill in Lexington. I have lived here since 2002. I have never heard of any problems that the others have described. The staff has always been VERY NICE. The majority of the current staff has been in place for several years. The Manager, Asst. Mgr., BOTH maintence guy's, the groundskeeper, and the courtesy (security) officers ALL address me by name....EACH AND EVERYTIME I see them. I have had LITTLE TO NO problems with maintence in the 5 years I have lived here. Any problem has been addressed and corrected in the SAME DAY it was reported. Yes, there's kids all over the place, BUT there are areas for them to play.....there is no more...nor no less than other complexes in the area. All the comments about roaches, worms, etc must be reflective of the lifestyle of the people reporting these problems. I HAVE NEVER SEEN A BUG IN MY UNIT.....EXCEPT FLIES THAT COME IN THE OPEN DOOR. And HIGH RENT....This complex has the lowest rates in the Lexington Area for recent construction. Someone mentioned OLD MILL and WATERWAY. Both at least $150.00 more each month...and smaller size. All in all, this is a very nice complex. Some of these reports are old, and new mgmt has come aboard in the last couple of years. BUT, I personally have never experienced ANYTHING mentioned in these posts. It is safe and mgmt reacts quickly to maximize the safety of the residents. Over the Winter, a car breaking ring hit the complex and the mgmt posted notices at the office, dumpsters, mail boxes, and every entrance to each building about the problem. Also they provided info on HOW TO PROTECT YOURSELF FROM BECOMING A TARGET of car break-ins. The Town police also increase their presence during the night time hours. Several Police officers reside here and the presence of the police cars parked in almost every parking area adds to the safety factor. I also have recommended this complex to freinds and co-workers. Some have move here and are also happy.

(or it could be someone in management themselves writing the review)ha ha ha. keep in mind, twonotchjunction, that you do not live in every single apartment in that complex, and not for extended periods of time either. lucky you for not seeing a roach, lucky you for all your maintenance needs repaired. or is it lucky you for being favored by the staff? now get on your knees.
