Moved into Thorn hill apartments believing that it was a very nice place, at least it appeared that way anyways. You have to live there to know how horrible this place is. First off, there where was a short in the wall. We had to keep this one light off at the front door of the apartment out of fear that we would wake up to smoke and fire. We told the apartments owners, but they could care less about it. The dishwasher was always breaking down making water go all over the place, and here's the worst part of all. My husband and I would get terrible headaches all of the time, and couldn't figure out why. I had a patriot named Tweetie who suddenly became very sick. I took him to the doctor, and they said that he had been sick for quite sometime, and was just now starting to show it. A week later, while I was watching TV, he simply fell to the bottom of the cage dead. After that, we called an outside contractor to take a look around to try and find out what was giving us headaches becasue no matter how many times we told the apartment owners, they never sent anyone to address the issue. It turns out that the water heater or furnace was giving off a small amount of CO2. It was giving us the headaches, and its the reason why my bird dropped dead. To top it all off, when we moved, we steam cleaned the carpets, washed the cabinets, and repaired any and all damage that resulted in us living there[And that doesn't include the money we had to burn to fix the dishwasher make the CO2 from leaking, and fix the short in the wall. I had too! They wheren't going to do it!] A week later, the apartment complex sent us a bill for $2,300.00 saying that they had to replace the cabinets and carpet becasue it was ruined. There was nothing wrong with that apartment when we left, because we followed every instruction that they given us to the letter on how we where to leave the appartment.

If you want to pay through the roof rent, but still live in a apartment that might look nice, but it's a death trap...then move right in. If you don't want to have to worry about that...go somewhere else.
